Use AgenticCart with Shopify: start from your shop address with nothing to install, or add the AgenticCart app for live updates, the cart and the widget.

A Shopify store can use AgenticCart in two ways: by its address, which needs nothing installed, or through the AgenticCart app for Shopify. Both feed the same catalog, the same AI preparation and the same channels - your ChatGPT and Claude app, your product feeds and your AI storefront.

Start with your shop's address

Enter your shop's address in the scan at agenticcart.ai/start, or under Store settings › Connect a store › Your shop's address. AgenticCart imports your public catalog - products, variants, prices, images and availability - and pulls it again every hour. No app, no API key and no change to your theme.

What the address connection does not include: a cart in the conversation (assistants link to your product pages instead) and changes arriving the moment you make them.

The AgenticCart app for Shopify

The app adds what the address cannot:

  • Live updates - product, price and inventory changes arrive through Shopify's webhooks, with a full sync once a day as a backstop.
  • The full cart - assistants fill a cart and hand it to your Shopify checkout. See cart and checkout.
  • The assistant in your shop - switch on the "AgenticCart assistant" app embed in your theme editor. See the shop widget.
  • No domain check - installing the app proves the store is yours, so no DNS record is needed for the store itself.

Availability

The app is installed from Shopify's own surfaces, never by typing a shop address into AgenticCart. Its public listing is not available yet: in Store settings, choose Ask for access on the Shopify connection and we set up the installation with you.

What stays in Shopify

Shopify remains the system of record. Products are edited in Shopify, checkout, payments and fulfilment run in Shopify, and orders are created there like any other order. Order reporting back to Insights is available for WooCommerce today; for Shopify stores, Insights counts sessions, carts and checkouts.

Frequently asked questions

Can I start with the address and add the app later?
Yes. Your catalog, the AI preparation and your channels stay as they are. The app adds live updates, the full cart and the widget in your theme.
Does AgenticCart change my Shopify theme?
No. The address connection changes nothing in your shop. With the app, the assistant appears only if you switch on its app embed in the theme editor.
Does AgenticCart replace Shopify's own AI features?
No. AgenticCart builds on top of your store: it prepares your catalog, runs your own app in ChatGPT and Claude, your feeds and your AI storefront, and leaves Shopify's own features as they are.
