The shop widget

Add your AI storefront to your own shop as a chat button: the Shopify app embed, the WooCommerce plugin switch, or one script tag on any website.

The widget opens your AI storefront's assistant right inside your own shop: a chat button on your pages that opens the same assistant, with the same look, the same products and the same collection as your storefront. You set it up under AI Storefront › Add the assistant to your shop. You need an AI storefront first.

Shopify

    Open your theme editor

    In Shopify: Online Store › Themes › Customize.

    Switch on "AgenticCart assistant"

    Under App embeds.

    Save

    The chat button appears on your shop. If it does not, open the AgenticCart app in your Shopify admin once: that connects the assistant to your storefront.

The app embed comes with the AgenticCart app for Shopify.

WooCommerce

    Open the plugin settings

    In WordPress: AgenticCart › Settings, card "Shopping assistant on your shop".

    Switch it on

    Switch on "Show the AgenticCart shopping assistant on my shop pages".

    Save

    The assistant appears on your shop pages. It is not shown on the cart and checkout pages.

This needs the WooCommerce plugin 2.6.0 or newer. With several storefronts, the plugin shows the one you created first.

Any other website

Paste the script from the widget page into your site's HTML, on every page where the assistant should appear. It carries your storefront's embed token:

What the widget does

The widget is your storefront in a panel: it searches your catalog, answers questions in the shopper's language and, where your store supports it, fills a cart and hands it to your checkout. Conversations from the widget appear in Conversations and in Insights like those from your storefront page. To change what it says or recommends, change the storefront in the Studio - the widget follows.

Frequently asked questions

Does the widget slow down my shop?
The script loads asynchronously, so your pages render without waiting for it. The assistant itself opens in a separate frame.
Can the widget and the storefront page differ?
No. The widget opens the storefront's assistant, so look, products and collection are always the same. For a different assistant, create a second storefront.
Why does the widget not show on my checkout page?
On WooCommerce it is left out of the cart and checkout pages on purpose, so it never gets between a shopper and the payment.
