Refetch a product feed in AgenticCart when you want to refresh the AI agent catalog with the latest data from your upstream source. One click re-reads the feed URL, updates titles, prices, stock, and images, and hands the refreshed data to every AI sales agent that uses the connected collection.
When to refetch your product feed
- You added new products or retired old ones.
- Prices, sale prices, or availability changed.
- Images, descriptions, categories, or attributes were updated.
- You changed settings in the tool that generates your feed.
- Your scheduled sync has not run yet and you need an update to land immediately.
Refetching sits on top of the regular catalog sync rhythm — use it when you cannot wait for the next scheduled refresh.
How to refetch a feed in AgenticCart
-
1
Open the feed integration
Sign in to the AgenticCart dashboard and open the integrations area for the feed you want to refresh. -
2
Click Refetch feed
AgenticCart fetches the feed URL again and shows live progress while the import runs. -
3
Review the result
Confirm the newest products, price changes, and stock updates are visible in your dashboard. -
4
Update collections if needed
Add newly imported products to the collections where they should be recommended. Sync updates data; collections control what the AI agent can show.
INFO
What shoppers see after a successful refetch
Once the refetch completes, every AI sales agent using products from that feed picks up the new data on the next conversation. Updated prices appear in product cards, newly in-stock items become recommendable again, and out-of-stock or removed products are filtered out so shoppers are not sent toward things they cannot buy. No republishing or redeploy is required.
If a refetch fails
- Open the feed URL in a browser and confirm it returns product data, not a login page.
- Check whether the feed is behind an auth wall, firewall, bot challenge, or expired signed URL.
- Confirm your feed generator has finished rebuilding the latest file and is not serving a half-written feed.
- Look at the error in the dashboard log and fix the source issue, then try again.
Feed-specific setup is covered in the Google Merchant feed guide. If the failure is not feed-related, the broader AgenticCart troubleshooting guide covers sync, domain, and assistant-quality issues.
