Enabling Products for AI Search
Not all products are automatically included in the AI feed. You maintain full control over which products are discoverable by AI agents on a per-product basis.
To enable a single product:

In WooCommerce, navigate to Products → All Products

Click to edit the product you want to enable

Scroll to the AgenticCart metabox (usually in the sidebar or below content)

Check the following options:
- Enable for AI Search - Makes product discoverable in ChatGPT
- Enable for Checkout - Allows purchases through AI

Click Update to save the product
Bulk Configuration
For stores with many products, use the bulk action feature to enable multiple products at once:

Go to Products → All Products in WooCommerce

Select multiple products using the checkboxes

From the Bulk Actions dropdown, choose Enable AgenticCart

Click Apply to enable all selected products
Product Data Best Practices
Optimize your product data to improve AI matching and customer satisfaction:
Descriptions
Write natural, conversational descriptions. Imagine explaining the product to a friend.

Images
Use high-resolution images showing the product from multiple angles.

- Detail close-ups
Categories & Tags
Properly categorize products for better AI matching.
- Use descriptive categories
- Add relevant tags
- Think about synonyms
Attributes
Fill in product attributes for better compatibility matching.
- Size and dimensions
- Material and composition
- Color and style options
Product Exclusions
You may want to exclude certain products from agentic commerce:
- Products requiring consultation or customization before purchase
- Age-restricted items that require identity verification
- Products with complex configuration requirements
- Limited edition items you want to reserve for website customers
Pro Tip
Start by enabling your best-selling products first. Monitor performance and gradually expand to your full catalog as you optimize product data based on AI recommendations.
